The [Un]Southern Belles

After much anticipation, I got the opportunity to sit down and chat with a good friend of the "Cast", Charlotte Baker. She is renowned far and wide for her incomparable knowledge regarding plants, natural remedies, and so many other areas of expertise. I often find myself reaching out to her about some random question and she never hesitates to come to my rescue without the first hint of annoyance.  I thoroughly enjoyed getting to talk with her, as always. I cannot wait to get the chance to follow up this episode with another chat with her when we can because there is so much we still have yet to discuss! This episode the ladies discuss intentions for the upcoming year and how we plan to manifest them individually and together. We also address something very personal to our group and how we used mindfulness and healthy communication to work through the issues and resolve the root of the problem. As always if you have any feedback, we are always listening. We appreciate all of the love and support we have gotten and look forward to continuing down this path in 2022. 

This episode had some serious technical glitches that only appeared once everything was finished, so I guess our ancestors did not like out conversation about traditions (or lack thereof). We discuss holiday traditions that we keep and the ones we lost along the way. There was some talk of wives tales, folklore, and other random stuff on this one too. As always do all the things to spread the word, and I promise we will continue to work on the tech side of things so that we can stop having these tech problems. 

This episode the ladies discuss experiences from being female. From personal to professional situations, how have experiences being a woman been different from the men around us. Boy, was this one a tough one for us! From the subject matter to the technical issues this episode might have caused us all some stress, but we are sharing it all anyway. We discuss religion (or our lack thereof) and how spirituality relates to being Southern for each of us personally. We give respect to those who hold religion dearly and still treat everyone with love and compassion. Then chaos occurs, which should become expected for the three of us when we gather in person or electronically. Just don't give me crap about the technology aspect of this one! I am just letting it be what it is and moving on with my life. It could be said that someone/something did not like us talking about this stuff over the internet...spooky!
